Wednesday 11th October – Meadow Restoration in the Tamar Valley

Come and join in with some meadow restoration in the Tamar Valley on a practical volunteer task day with the Devon Greater Horseshoe Bat Project and Tamar Community Trust. Help sow and establish wildflower seeds alongside a beautiful stretch of the Tamar Trails .

Wild flower grassland, surrounded by woods are important hunting grounds for greater horseshoe bats, and this site right next to the Tamar and very close to an important greater horseshoe bat maternity roost is no exception. Come along to hear more about why wild flower meadows matter.
Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided but please bring your own lunch. Wear suitable clothing and sturdy footwear. Parking available near the farm house.
