Wednesday 11th October – Meadow Restoration in the Tamar Valley

Location: Morwell Barton, but meet at the Tamar Trails Centre, PL19 8JE
Come and join in with a practical volunteer task day with the Tamar Community Trust and the Devon Greater Horseshoe Bat Project. Help sow in and establish wildflower seeds alongside a beautiful stretch of the Tamar Trails at Morwell Barton.
Tea, coffee and lunch are provided. Wear suitable clothing and sturdy footwear.

Wild flower grassland, surrounded by woods are important hunting grounds for greater horseshoe bats, and this site right next to the Tamar and very close to an important greater horseshoe bat maternity roost is no exception. Come along to hear more about why wild flower meadows matter.
