Tamar Trails training event – Hedgelaying *cancelled due to illness*

Date: Wednesday 16th of January 2019
Time: 10.30am-4pm
Location: Tamar Trails, meet at Scrub Tor car park, PL19 8PP

*Unfortunately this event has just been cancelled due to illness*

This partnership event is organised by Tamar Community Trust.

Learn the skill of hedge-laying, whilst improving habitats for bats and other wildlife in the Tamar Valley.

We are employing the traditional art of ‘pleaching’ small tree and shrub stems to create a stock (and people!) proof barrier. This will be on top of a small Devon Bank using stems of beech trees. This will open the visibility to the small car park at Scrub Tor.

Meet at: Scrub Tor car park at the end of the Tamar Trails between Chipshop and Horsebridge. Lamerton PL19 8PP. Grid reference SX415744
