Date: Saturday 12th of January 2019Time: 10.30am - 4pmLocation: Storridge Wood Meadow
A practical volunteer task day with Devon Wildlife Trust, South Devon Nature Trust and the Devon Greater Horseshoe Bat Project.
Join us to help restore a beautiful wildflower meadow! Wildflower grasslands are key habitats needed to support the local population of greater horseshoe bats; meadows support a huge number of insects and therefore provide important foraging habitats. Tasks will involve cutting back stands of willow, clearing brash and burning the cuttings on site.
