‘Life in the Meadows’ – with John Walters @ Deer Park Farm

Date: Sunday 8th of July 2018
Time: 10.30am - 4.30pm
Location: Deer Park Farm

Don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity to learn all about meadows, the flowers that grow there and the creatures that call it home.

Visit the beautiful Deer Park Farm, set in the hills near Trusham. At this event we will be joined by ecologist John Walters (known recently for his work on Winterwatch, The One Show & Hugh’s Wild West) so this will be a great chance to learn from an expert in the field (quite literally!). However if you prefer, there are plenty of beautiful quiet spots of meadow to just sit and soak in the atmosphere.

Travel west out of Chudleigh, cross the A38 bridge and turn right onto the B3193. Take the 1st right for Trusham; cross the R. Teign and the disused railway bridge, then IMMEDIATELY turn right. Follow the lane up the hill till you see double gates on your left with a Deer Park sign. Drive down to the farm. Car-share if you can!

There will be 2 sessions on the day: 10.30am – 1pm & 2 – 4.30pm.

The event is FREE to attend HOWEVER, it is important to book your place: Email and specify am, pm or both.

The event will be a lot of fun for all ages – but there are a few rather steep hills, appropriate footwear is encouraged.

Unfortunately dogs are NOT permitted at this event.
