Chudleigh Bat garden – Celebration event

Date: Thursday 16th of May 2019
Time: 7pm - 9.30pm
Location: Chudleigh - Bat Friendly Garden at the corner of Rock Road, opposite Glenspray

Find out how Chudleigh became a bat friendly community gardening by joining us at an evening celebration event.

  • First we’ll be celebrating Chudleigh’s achievements by awarding ‘Bat Friendly Community’ status from the Bat Project. If you’ve been involved in this over the last few years do come along and join us!
  • After that, help improve the bat garden in Chudleigh with a spot of maintenance
  • As the sun sets we will have refreshments (cake may be involved)
  • Finally, we’ll do some bat detecting

Discover how small changes to your own garden can make a massive difference for bats and other wildlife.

Wear suitable clothing/footwear and bring along a few garden tools such as a trowel and small fork if you have them.
