Nature Walk in Hembury Woods

Date: Thursday 16th of May 2019
Time: 11am - 1pm
Location: Hembury Woods, near Ashburton

Join the Bat Project, All the Moor Butterflies and the National Trust for a Nature Walk all about butterflies and bats in the beautiful Hembury Woods.

Spring is a wonderful time to get out into nature. Along the way you will learn about the management the National Trust do for wildlife across Hembury and Holne Woods, spot some of the butterflies that live here, and learn about the importance of great habitats to the bats that live and hunt here.

Why not bring a picnic to enjoy after the walk has finished?

How to get there

Meet in the top car park, grid ref. SX724687.

If coming from Buckfast, this is the last car park in the woods at the top of the hill
