
The Garden House – Bats and butterflies galore

The Devon Greater Horseshoe Bat Project and the Butterfly Conservation organisation are joining forces at The Garden House for a ‘Bats and Butterflies Galore’ day to talk about bats and butterflies and to detect them around the garden.
This will be a fun, interesting day and we’ll all learn more about the important wildlife in the garden.
Events:
- 2 – 4pm Butterfly ID workshop with Megan Lowe of Butterfly Conservation
- 7pm Talk about moths
- 7.30pm Talk about the bat project with Helen Parr of Devon Wildlife Trust
- 8pm Supper (please book in advance by emailing catering@thegardenhouse.org.uk or call 01822 854769 )
- 9.30pm – 10.30pm Bat detecting & putting out moth traps
Drop in and out of the talks and events on the day. There’s no additional charge, access to all the bats and butterflies events are covered by your usual garden admission fee.
