Autumn Community Clean w/ Plastic Free Bovey Tracey
Date: Saturday 27th of October 2018Time: 10am-12pmLocation: Bovey Tracey
On 27th October, join Plastic Free Bovey Tracey at the Autumn Community Clean at Bovey Heath, part of the Surfers Against Sewage Autumn Beach and River Clean aiming to be the biggest joint clean across the country.
As the Town Council regularly cleans the Park and alongside the river, we’re going a bit further inland to clean up the plastic litter around the heath and industrial estate.
All the plastic discarded inland will eventually end up in the rivers and sea so the problem of pollution here is directly linked with the plastic pollution issue we are witnessing in the oceans and to our wildlife.
Please join us!

No need to pre-book for this event. You can let us know you are coming…or just turn up from 10am!
What to bring
If you have them, please bring a bucket or similar to collect the rubbish and re-usable sturdy gloves (e.g. garden gloves). If not, don’t worry, we can provide everything you need but obviously we want to reduce the use of single use plastic bags and gloves where possible!
We look forward to seeing you there!
