Come and be ‘Batty About Moths at Clennon Valley Lakes’!

Torbay Green Spaces and Devon Moth Group will be investigating the nightlife adventures of Clennon Lakes, as part of Love Parks Week, this July.

Join us for an evening of exploration as we set up moth traps to entice a wide array of moths. We will also be using bat detectors to discover the species using Clennon Lakes for passage while enjoying the veritable feast of insects over the water.

See a variety of bats and moths on this special event in partnership with Torbay Green Spaces that awakens your senses to nature at night-time. Clennon Lakes in Goodrington is home to various bats and moths, while our streetlamp-free dark skies are perfect for stargazing on a clear night. Along with experts from  Devon Moth Group, find out what’s going on after dark in this fabulous county wildlife site in Paignton.
